About Doug Edrington

At the age of 18, I started my real estate career. Little did I know, this career would lead me through an incredible journey to what is now known as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices J Douglas Properties. In 2004, I purchased my first home as a project to flip for profit while earning a college degree and working part-time at UPS. A year later, in 2005, I became a licensed NAR Member and joined my parents, George and Grace Edrington, on an extraordinary business venture. In 2006, our family officially formed The Edrington Team. What started as a small team inside a jungle of 3,600 NAR Members in our market at that time, quickly turned into an establishment of top agents in town. Currently, I am the managing partner of The Edrington Team, which ranked #1 amongst agents and teams in the Chattanooga and North Georgia market in 2015, 2016 and 2017 selling 491 homes last year.

 

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices also ranked The Edrington Team within the top 10 teams in 2015, 2016, and 2017 naming us the #7 team in the Nation last year. Furthermore, The Edrington Team is ranked #13 on Zillow.com by customer reviews, towering over 1 million real estate agents in the country. However, one of my most accomplished feats in this career thus far was the grand opening of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices J Douglas Properties in April 2018. I am dedicated to building the brokerage off of systems, processes, and relationships that permit continuous growth. I also strive to always go the extra mile to help clients and NAR Members meet their goals through an enjoyable, innovative experience. There is no magic to this business, just long hours, hard work, and being committed to the people who choose to work alongside me.
